Emei West Hollywood Concert reviews
Amazing performances, horrible venue experience.
The comedy aspect was so funny, loved the openers and the amount of time they were given. Specifically, right in front of the entrances in which people had to walk through a large pile of snow. They could have had some tower heaters outside to keep everyone comfortable in line. Also, I've gone to three events at this location and they had a dedicated clear pre-check. The issue I had was the venue, The Climate Pledge Arena, gave minimal effort preparing for this big night. Starting off with not shoveling all the snow off the walking areas of the venue. Tonight's event had no signage and all the lines were the same. After the event was chaos, where they funneled hundreds of people into a single escalator and stairs, causing a lot of pushing and arguments from people wanting to leave. Then the removal of the cell phone security pouches took the person way too many tries to get it unlocked, causing more of a backup. And finally, the venue knew it was a very cold night in Seattle. Rather than kick everyone out to the cold, why don't they make a bit more money and let people stay inside and drink while waiting for ride shares to arrive. I'm very disappointed in how Climate Pledge handled this big night and honestly, it doesn't make me want to ever go back.
